Getting to Bio Blitz 2025 Riverbend Youth Centre is located at 358 Trowutta Rd, Scotchtown, TAS 7330. Driving Times From Hobart: approximately 5 hours From Launceston: approximately 3 hours From Burnie: approximately 1 hour Flying In? If you're flying into Tasmania, you may be able to arrange a lift from the airport to the site via the Tarkine Rideshare Facebook group, a great way to connect with other attendees and share transport. Public Transport Buses run from Hobart, Launceston, and Burnie to Smithton, the nearest town to the event site. If you're arriving by bus, please let us know and we may be able to help coordinate a lift from Smithton to Riverbend.

Toilet location

Riverbend Youth Centre offers wheelchair-accessible facilities, including communal accessible toilets and one bunk room equipped with its own accessible bathroom. We aim to support a comfortable and inclusive experience for all participants. Toilets on field trips are "bush loos", a detailed briefing on how to use bush loos will be given at the safety induction on Thursday night.
