Sheldon LINQ Academy #Take Action - Online Workshops for International Students

The Sheldon LINQ Academy Online Workshops for International Students are 1.5 hour workshops offered across two dedicated sessions exposing young people to entrepreneurial skills, design thinking programs and problem-based learning. These workshops are designed for high school students and are aimed at unpacking solutions to one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The following workshops will allow participants to address a global challenge and propose ways to make a difference. Places are limited to no more than 20 students per workshop.

Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 March 13 to 16 years of age 2.00pm to 3.30pm #Take Action - The Social Technologist
Wednesday 31 March and Thursday 1 April 14 to 17 years of age 2.00pm to 3.30pm #Take Action - The Social Entrepreneur

The Sheldon LINQ Academy is a learning institution with state-of-the-art facilities and access to new generation tools and technologies to inspire the transformation of learning for students, educators and the wider community. It caters for several different levels of learning, including school holiday workshops, international student and teacher incursions, excursions and a newly formed Initial Teacher Education Pilot program.  The Sheldon LINQ Academy is dedicated to rethinking current educational models by inspiring tomorrow’s educators to challenge current educational paradigms and mindsets. It also aims to prepare future-ready students by empowering learners with the knowledge, technology and skills, in addition to educating the community both locally and globally to enable, engage and connect. This impact statement led to the 3 Pillar philosophy of: Inspiring Tomorrow’s Educators , Preparing ‘future-ready’ Students and Educating the Community.
