Meet me Next Door: Lesbian Social Gathering.

Been out on town looking for a sign to bring me one step closer to you. Images of your jeans, your sweet lips and melted wax consume me. Scenes of loud chatter. Flirty behaviour. One score wonder. Poker face. I know you're somewhere, will you finally meet next door? At the end of the evening, as the crowd slowly drifts, you'll come running up to me saying,

"Hello, It's a pleasure to meet you."

Come join us on the evening of Saturday 7 September for social drinks at, Next Do'r Bar, held at Nevermind Bar, Hawthorn. It is a casual, but charming atmosphere, privately booked out for you to socialise among the Lesbian/Queer community. Grab your bloody shiraz from the bar and turn strangers into dearest companions. 

Event Breakdown:

We'll greet ya at the door, tick ya name off and give you a name card. 

★ Name Game: You never know who you'll meet. Get given a guests name upon arrival and make it your mission to find them. There’s a question on the back to ask them if you’d like. This game creates chatter, banter and memories. The connections are boundless.

Note: Once you ask someone their name, even if it is NOT your person, you should exchange questions (-:

★ Pool Competition! There are two pool tables (downstairs & upstairs). Let's have a pool competition. Please bring spare change. 

★ Nevermind is kindly lending us some board games. Invite someone into your group. Or if you fancy a particular game, you're more than welcome to bring your own.

★ Call me cards: Keep in contact with each other. Write your details down on one of the 'Call me Cards' displayed around the venue and give it to them. It's a lovely gesture, an old fashion trick that works like charm! 

★ There most definitely will be a DF!

This is operating at a licensed venue. Please do not BYO. This event is designed for persons 20+. Limited capacity. Photography will be present. Please be mindful and respectful to the venue property <3.

Third Rodeo Background

THIRD provides a safe dedicated Lesbian/Queer space for people in their 20s+ to make connections. The atmosphere is relaxed, charming, a bit raunchy at times, but most importantly its a safe community. Come solo or with pals - whatever you decide, you will be left made with real connections.

We've hosted several successful events in Naarm/Melbourne and Eora/Sydney! I've personally met all my beautiful queer friends through this. I understand how daunting it may be to rock up alone and speak to people, but you'll soon realise that everyone wants the same thing and that everyone is so incredibly friendly. If you haven't already seen my Tiktoks or Instagram, the vibe is like The Planet from the L Word - HAHA!
