Event description

TICC is a non-profit community; attendance and membership are free. There is a small registration fee that will be fully refunded to attendees after the event. This is to discourage no-shows.

Join us for the launch of The Impactful Career Collective!

Are you struggling to find meaning in your work? Do you want to have an oversized impact on the world throughout your career?

We're building a supportive community where morally ambitious students and professionals refine their career mission, build strategic networks, and develop the career capital needed to tackle neglected local and global problems that are both solvable and large-scale.

At our inaugural meetup, we'll be:

Introducing TICC's mission and core values - from evidence-based decision making to collaborative growth

Presenting our planned offerings, including mentorship programmes, workshop series, networking opportunities, and career planning resources

Sharing our vision for creating a judgment-free environment where members genuinely invest in each other's success

Gathering your feedback and insights to help shape the community's development

Whether you're just starting your career journey or looking to pivot towards greater impact, this is your chance to be part of something meaningful from the ground up. We're seeking students and professionals who share our commitment to long-term thinking, intellectual humility, and creating measurable change in our most pressing challenges.

Agenda:

6 - 6:30: Meet and mingle

6:30 - 7:30: Launch presentation and ideation discussion

7:30 - 8:30: Connect with fellow changemakers

Come ready to engage with ambitious optimism as we explore how individual careers can make meaningful contributions to solving local and global problems. Your perspectives and critical thinking will be invaluable in helping us build a community that truly serves its members and the world.

Who should attend: Students and professionals interested in careers that create meaningful, measurable impact whilst building sustainable career capital.
