Take the Jump NZ Ambassador Training

Are you concerned about climate change, but not sure how you can help to make a difference? Do you want to play a positive, active role in climate change solutions?

Get to know more about the how the global Take the Jump movement is developing in Aotearoa and help to spread the word across the motu by signing up to our free Ambassador training course.

The course consists of five x one hour and 15 minute sessions, and takes place over Zoom on a weekday in the evening. The course will give you all the tools you need to communicate about making sustainable changes, and Taking the Jump, in a way that will avoid conflict, inspire people, and lead to positive outcomes. The course includes an array of learning materials and plenty of chances to practice communicating.

The sessions will cover:

1. 11th February - Connecting with others – Exploring the barriers to making a change
2. 18th February - Change through inspiration – Exciting others about what’s possible
3. 25th February - Communication Toolkit – Principles and steps for communicating, plus practice sessions.
4. 4th March - Deepening – Recaps, practice and FAQ’s
5. 11th March - Becoming an Ambassador: groups, workshops, resources – and next steps in Aotearoa

You only need to register once, for the 1st session, and your registration will apply to all 5 sessions.

Everyone is welcome. The training is free, but koha (for the whole course), however small, is much appreciated if you can. Any amounts, small or big, make a difference!
