Take the Jump NZ Ambassador Training - July 2025

Are you concerned about climate change, but not sure how you can help to make a difference? Do you want to play a positive, active role in climate change solutions?

Get to know more about how the global Take the Jump movement is developing in Aotearoa and help to spread the word across the motu by signing up to our free Ambassador training course.

The course consists of five x one hour and 15 minute sessions, and takes place over Zoom on Tuesday evenings (7pm-8:15pm) in July. The course will give you all the tools you need to communicate about making sustainable changes, and Taking the Jump, in a way that will avoid conflict, inspire people, and lead to positive outcomes. The course includes an array of learning materials and plenty of chances to practice communicating.

The sessions will cover:

1. 1st of July - Connecting with others – Exploring the barriers to making a change
2. 8th of July - Change through inspiration – Exciting others about what’s possible
3. 15th of July - Communication Toolkit – Principles and steps for communicating, plus practice sessions.
4. 22nd of July - Deepening – Recaps, practice and FAQ’s
5. 29th of July - Becoming an Ambassador: groups, workshops, resources – and next steps in Aotearoa

Everyone is welcome. The training is free, but koha (for the whole course), however small, is much appreciated if you can. Any amounts, small or big, make a difference!
