Take the Stage - A Youth Musical Theatre Workshop

In celebration of Youth Week 2025, Camden Musical Society together with Camden Council and Australian Theatre for Young People presents Take the Stage: A Youth Musical Theatre Workshop.
This free, three-day workshop will be filled with acting, singing and dancing workshops presented by expert teachers from ATYP and is open to all Camden LGA youth residents aged 12 to 24. Participants will have opportunities to build and enrich their musical theatre skills by working on characterisation, stage movement, musical vocals, stage presence, and more. The workshop will culminate in a special concert on Thursday 17 April at 6pm, where all participants will have chance to show off what they have learnt (tickets for that event will be available separately).
The workshop runs from 15 - 17 April, from 9am - 4pm every day. Participants should wear comfortable clothing suited to movement, and must bring their own lunch, snacks and water.
