Take Up Space ~ A Women’s Embodied Movement Experience

Take Up Space is a women's embodied movement experience created as an invitation to come home to your body, your expression and your whole self.

Held by live DJ music, guided movement and connection, you’ll be gently led through the experience with invitations, prompts and movement practices designed to help you drop out of your head and into your body.

There will be guidance throughout, while still leaving plenty of space for you to move, explore and express in your own way. This is not about getting the movement “right”, following choreography or performing for anyone else. It is about listening inward, allowing your body to lead and giving yourself permission to move, feel, play, express and take up space in whatever way feels true for you.

Expect an immersive evening of music, movement, energy and connection, with space to explore both the softer and more powerful parts of yourself.

No dance or movement experience is needed. Just a willingness to arrive as you are and see what unfolds.

What to Bring

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

Bring:

• Layers you can easily add or remove

• A water bottle

• A small towel if you tend to get warm

• Anything else you need to feel comfortable and supported
