About the speaker — Lorna Neave

Lorna brings extensive experience across traumatic and acquired neurological conditions, with a specialist interest in traumatic brain injury. Her career spans acute stroke units, neuroscience and major trauma centres, inpatient neurorehabilitation and community neurorehab teams.

She currently works as a Band 8a Clinical Lead OT for Neuro & Trauma at a London Major Trauma Centre, alongside her private practice supporting adults with brain injuries through community vocational rehabilitation. Lorna also works as an expert witness, provides clinical supervision, delivers training, and has guest‑lectured widely.

Her passion lies in occupational therapy’s unique ability to use activity analysis creatively, mimicking work settings and demands to support safe, meaningful and sustainable return‑to‑work outcomes.
