Taking your watercolours travelling - sketchbook drawing and watercolour painting_28th June 2025

Are you setting off on new adventures and want to capture memories with your watercolour paints or pen? Join award winning artist, Libby Derham, on a watercolour workshop guiding you through different sketching techniques and ways of working with watercolour and ink in sketchbooks. You will learn 'pen and wash' techniques, ways to stay loose with your drawing and painting, and tips and tricks of what materials to take with you. Libby has been sketchbook painting and drawing her whole life, learning from her family of artists. You will use artist quality materials and the rich colours of Daniel Smith Paints.

All art materials are supplied. Feel free to bring any sketching gear you currently have if you would like to discuss it with Libby. If weather permitting, we will try and go outdoors for some of the day. Please bring an outdoor chair (or something you find comfortable) to sit on when outside.

Please wear old clothes or bring an apron. Morning tea included.
