Tales of Christmas Past - Matinee Performance
Event description
Tales of Christmas Past
Join us at the Battle Creek Regional History Museum for our third annual Tales of Christmas Past.
This is an exclusive holiday performance featuring this year's wonderful cast: Dave Eddy, Donna Rickman, Michael Delaware, Bobbie Mathis, Brian McCombs and Lora Vasquez. This year's show will also sparkle with special guest Judy Gail Krasnow who will share the history behind the classic holiday songs 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer' and 'Frosty the Snowman' and others.
The program will bring to life Christmas stories from yesteryear told in story format and also through poetry. This special experience will be sure to get you and your family into the holiday spirit as the cast will take you on a journey into yesteryear to Christmas' long, long ago. Get turned into children again with the magic of the Lord of Misrule, along with a visit from St. Nicholas and Krampus. Join us as we explore Christmas in 1776, a Bear tale from Russia, a miraculous escape from bondage at Christmastime in 1848, the story of Christmas lights and so many more!
The event is two hours, with a 15 minute intermission. The program will be held in the History Education Center.
Note: There are two performances. This one is for the Matinee performance starting at 2:00 PM.
Tickets are $10 each, and all proceeds go to support the Battle Creek Regional History Museum.
