Talismans Crafty Morning Teas
Event description
KAN is hosting two morning teas as part of the Talismans: Power and Charm exhibition.
These friendly intimate sessions are focussed on a craft activity that will give you a real insight into the artists work, while enjoying a social cuppa and some refreshments. It's a a great way to learn some skills and deeper understanding of the amazing technical work done by these artists.
Saturday 28 September 9 – 11am Stitch with Jacky Cheng
In the gardens of the Broome Museum, you can enjoy a talismans morning tea. Jacky will give you an insight to her artworks and then participate in a crafty stitching session with a cuppa and some morning tea.
Sunday 29 September 9 – 11am Tiny cups with Angela and a woven mat with Clare
In the gardens of the Broome Museum, you can enjoy a crafty morning tea. The artists will give you an insight into their materials, process and ideas, and then share a morning tea while making your own little ‘elbow cup’ from clay With Angela Bakkar and a small tapestry weaving with Clare.
