Do you want to improve your English and learn more about Australian culture? Sign up for regular conversations with a friendly, local resident.

Join Talk with a Local, a free program designed to help international students practice English and learn about life in Australia. We'll match you with a local community volunteer for informal, one-on-one conversations. You'll meet with your volunteer weekly to practice speaking in English and for cultural exchange.

If you'd like to be matched with a local volunteer, book your ticket for one of our student information sessions. At the information session you will learn all about the program and provide information we can use to help match you with a volunteer. We look forward to seeing you there!
