John Curtin Gallery and the Carrolup Centre for Truth-telling invite you to come and sit amongst the artworks of the Carrolup Child Artists. Discover for yourself the truth behind the circumstances in which the works were made and reflect on how the legislated practice of removing children from their parents continues to impact Aboriginal and Islander families in your community.

Facilitated by our Community Engagement Facilitator, Ron Bradfield Jnr, this is an introduction to the culture and history of Western Australian Aboriginal people, told against the backdrop of the Carrolup Children’s Artworks.
