Join Katy Bee, founder of the Joy First Foundation, for a workshop on how to approach people to connect respectfully and joyfully for networking, fundraising and making new friends. She will take you through the whole process – from approaching people, picking up on their cues, gratitude and recognition, making connections and how to build with them. Workshop Leader Biography
Katy BEE, aka Kate McGlynn, is President of the Joy First Foundation, an East Side Institute Associate, a play entrepreneur, a Joy Activation Coach, and Certified Chief Wellbeing Officer from the World Happiness Foundation. With expertise in performance art, clowning, circus arts, content creation, Therapeutic Humor, improvisation, laughter, and yoga, she fosters joy through workshops and presentations worldwide. A graduate of the East Side Institute International Class and the Humor Academy of the Association of Applied and Therapeutic Humor, Katy combines humor and improvisation to create transformative experiences. As a certified laughter yoga leader and registered yoga teacher, she infuses her work with positivity. She is a certified life coach through the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology. Through Joy First, Katy's mission is to spread joy to all living beings, offering playful workshops online and in person. She hosts two podcasts, and offers online and in-person sessions for adults, seniors and kids. Joy First’s Building Bridges program exists for schools, businesses and communities for stress relief, suicide prevention and antibullying.
