Event description
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- Defining sexual health
- Understanding healthy relationships
- Exploring legal and ethical consent, including affirmative consent legislation
Further Details:
- The session will be facilitated by expert educators from SHV who are part of the LGBTIQA+ community
- The workshop is free: this is the same workshop being delivered twice. There are two dates for this workshop, when selecting your ticket, please select your preferred date (you may also select both dates if you would like to attend the workshop twice)
- This workshop is for LGBTIQA+ people aged 18 and over
- The workshop will be hosted at QHub
- There will be a QHub Peer Support Worker present to provide support and debriefing to participants as needed
- Food and drink will be provided
- There is capacity for up to 30 participants to attend each workshop
Accessibility:
- QHub is located on the ground floor and is accessible by wheelchair. However, there is no wheelchair accessible bathroom onsite
- There are multiple break out spaces to take breaks in as needed, including a low sensory room
- There are sensory items onsite
