UTS: Talking Teachers Podcast Launch

We invite you to attend the launch of “Talking Teachers”, a new education podcast series, on Thursday 30th March from 5.30pm. Thrilled to share that Sarah MacDonald from Mornings on ABC 702 will launch the podcast; Sarah has a long-held interest in all matters education, young people and schools. 

The f2f event will be held in  Building 10, Level 14, Room 105 (Lounge Room) in the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences at the University of Technology Sydney (Broadway campus).

We know a lot about what is wrong with education in schools. In this podcast series we offer new solutions and fresh perspectives to current issues in Australian education that are not being canvassed in other media.

Each podcast is hosted by Dr Don Carter and Associate Professor Jane Hunter, members of the Life-wide Learning and Education Research Group in the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences at the University of Technology Sydney. The conversations in the first 6 episodes revolve around key themes in education from different points of view including a union standpoint, the voice of a former NSW Minister of Education, the Australian media, a school funding commentator, a recently retired maths teacher and a respected teacher education researcher in Australia.
