LAByrinth presents Our Stories showcase: Story of Her: Tangled Up In Pain

Tangled Up In Pain is about trauma and non-physical domestic abuse using the artist's autobiography and neurodivergent bent. It is meant to engulf the audience in rich visuals, audio modulation, nonlinear sound collage, and in-the-moment reaction by the artist. It is an opportunity for neurotypical audiences to see and feel a bit of the innerworkings of the artist's neurodivergent brain.

Every day, people with invisible and visible disabilities have to accommodate and adapt to the neurotypical world that feels foreign to many of us; Tangled is a chance to see things from a new and different perspective.
