Simon Thomsen, Editor, Startup Daily

Simon has been the editor of Startup Daily since 2019 and also hosts the Startup Daily show, 2:00 - 2:30 pm Mon-Thu, on the business streaming service ausbiz.com.au. He was previously associate editor of Business Insider Australia, was a national restaurant critic, editor of The Good Food Guide, and a newspaper proprietor during a 30-year career in journalism and publishing. He's also an investor in early-stage startups and chaired industry lobby group Australian Business Ltd's (now the NSW Business Chamber) environment committee during the Kyoto agreement era. 

Aj Koch, Tank Stream Marketing Lead and General Manager, Pinstripe Media

AJ is the Managing Director of Pinstripe Media and leads its creative content and marketing strategy operation. With a background in journalism, TV production, and media, AJ has grown Pinstripe Media from a small family business to a media and marketing team of 25 people strong and working with global brands as well as an emerging tech business. Having worked with, interviewed, or written about hundreds of Aussie innovators, AJ loves nothing more than finding creative ways to tell their stories and help them succeed. He’s also fluent in Spanish and has a penchant for Mexican food and top-shelf tequila.

Paris Touma, Tank Stream Marketing Lead and Marketing Director, Pinstripe Media

Paris is the Marketing Director at Pinstripe's Agency. With a background in people building, brand building, and business building across both agency and client side, she finally found her passion agency side -  doing great work with good people and brands that make a difference. With a track record delivering in 360 marketing and management roles, Paris knows a thing or two about content marketing, social strategy, and partnership mapping. She also knows a thing or two about how to make a killer Tiramisu and how to spot a spicy margarita worth slowly sipping.
