Tantric Latihan—Full Bloom
Event description
Tantra Collective invites you to a Full Bloom offering of Tantric Latihan! As spring ripens and Mother Earth pulses with vibrant life, she calls us to awaken—inviting us to blossom into fuller expression and birth a new way of being. In this sacred field of aliveness, we soften the boundaries of self and other, and allow love, presence, and embodied truth to guide us into deeper connection.
Whether you're new to the practice or a seasoned practitioner, each journey is unique. Come as you are—solo, with a friend, or bring your partner—and step into this fertile field of aliveness, soul-level connection, and sacred unfolding.
-------------------
We welcome you to embrace the mystery that is life. In this sacred container, we journey inward to listen deeply to the body’s intuitive wisdom and attune to the heart’s ever-renewing truth. As nature reaches the height of her bloom, we are called to shed old layers—releasing thought, identity, and agenda—and soften into presence. This is a return to stillness, to trust, to listening.
At the heart of this practice is the sacred art of slowing way down. Latihan invites you to move at the pace of truth, guided not by will but by subtle sensation. Through surrender, we connect more deeply to ourselves, to source, and to others. This is a powerful reclamation of embodied sensuality and reconnection to the divine mystery within us all.
Latihan is a practice of deep listening and spontaneous movement guided by inner wisdom. It is not about performing or doing—it is about being moved. Originating in the Indonesian Subud tradition and later adapted through Osho's Neo-Tantra lineage and teachers like Laurie Handlers, Latihan has found new roots in the West. Our mentors, Alan Shurafa and Rachel Clark, have carried this lineage into the NYC community, alongside contemporary teachers such as Frank Mondeose and Julia Grace, with whom Dave Schiman has also trained. Tantra Collective is honored to bring this practice to life in Philadelphia.

What to expect?
Arrive at 6pm to check in, mingle, and settle into the sacred space. Doors close promptly at 6:30pm to seal our container.
Guided by multimodal healer Dave Schiman and Tantra Collective founder Elana Stern, each with decades of experience, we begin with an opening circle and somatic connection practices. Together, we co-create a culture of care through shared agreements that honor consent and presence.
Blindfolded, you will then enter the Latihan journey—moved by music, spacious guidance, and the living intelligence within you.
We complete our journey with a sound bath savasana led by special guest artists Deep Field. As the experience integrates, there is space for gentle reflection and optional sharing. Many participants leave feeling grounded, radiant, and profoundly connected to their own inner blossoming.

Every adult is welcome here! Singles, couples, and friends of any sexual orientation, gender, adult age, and background come together in this supportive container as we shed identity and move into the energetic space beyond.
Is there an age restriction?
There is a certain level of self-awareness and maturity required to create a safe container in which we can dive deep into the unknown and move freely within this space. For the comfort and safety of all, participants are required to be over 18 years old.
Can I come alone or is this experience for couples?
Come as you are—solo, with a friend, or bring your partner! Latihan is an invitation to journey into your own embodiment, individual sovereignty, and divine intuition. From this place, we may move into somatic connection with other energies.
What do I bring? And how should I dress?

- Arrive clean and in fresh clothing, out of respect and care for the safety of our shared space and close contact.
Will there be nudity or intimacy in this experience?
While Tantra practices are eclectic from White to Red Tantra, this experience is a sovereign journey in a clothed, sensual, nonsexual container. We encourage participants to stay in their own body while connecting somatically with others as they choose. Safety for all is our priority, and we will go over the upper limits for the space as part of the experience.

Come at 6pm to mingle over Jaya Kava heart-opening elixirs and sensuous vegan treats for purchase and receive a five-minute tune-up by bodywork master Ariel Monroe (first come, first serve). Doors will close promptly at 6:30pm.
Are intoxicants or altering medicines permitted?
This is a sober event, and no intoxicating substances are allowed. The invitation is to tap into your unclouded intuition and connect with divine guidance. Heart-opening kava, cacao, and tea elixirs are available for purchase from our Jaya Kava friends before the opening circle.
Is there parking available?

Do I need to provide my contact information when registering and purchasing tickets?
Yes, we need your true name, email address, and phone number when registering and purchasing tickets whether online or at the door. For important contact reasons and for the safety of all, we do not allow any anonymous participants. For these reasons, any tickets purchased under a false name or contact information may be canceled.
Will there be tickets available at the door?
This event has sold out in the past, so we encourage advance tickets as we cannot guarantee tickets at the door. While we'd love everyone to attend who's called, our primary consideration is to ensure a safely held container and positive experience for participants.
Are sliding-scale tickets available?
Take advantage of early-bird pricing for the best deal, and be sure to purchase tickets in advance as prices increase the week of the event. If you're in financial need, please reach out to us directly.
What is the COVID protocol?
