Sun, 13 Apr, 1pm - 5pm AEST

Event description

Yoni and Lingam's massage is a sacred meditation, a careful awakening, and a conscious and ongoing decision to put your partner's pleasure in front of the mind.

This workshop is a hands-on and in-depth introduction to the techniques, mindsets, and practices of Tantric genital massage. Learn new techniques of touch, learn the mindset of intention, and allow yourself to disconnect the physical release from the pleasure of touch as your partner learns by guided practice with you as the model.

This will be a guided experience starting with a partnered full-body sensual massage, culminating in an opportunity to practice a series of genital massage techniques with your partner.

1 PM to 3.30 PM - Yoni Massage
3.30 PM to 5 PM - Lingam Massage

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

Q: What will I learn, and how will I grow?
A: Our goal is to provide a safe space for you to learn this healing and pleasure-providing practice. You will learn to connect more deeply with your own body, and that of your partner.

Q: Do I need to attend both classes?
A: You are welcome to attend either the Yoni or Lingam Massage class, or both.

Q: Do I need to bring a partner?
A: Please bring a partner with whom you would be comfortable within a sexually charged environment, with at least one vulva (yoni) or penis (lingam) for the matching class. If you wish to attend but do not have a partner, feel free to share the event in other FB groups or within your group of friends. We WON'T pair up people for this event.

Q: What should I wear, and how exposed will I be during the workshop?
A: Please arrive clean, please wear comfortable clothing and please bring both a towel and sarong to rest on or to cover your body as desired.

Q: What will be my level of privacy and interaction with others?
A: You will perform the workshop exercises with your paired partner. You will be in a sexually charged environment, with yourself and other participants practising genital massage in pairs. You will not be expected to interact with anyone outside of your paired partner physically.

Q: What should I do if I become uncomfortable?
A: If your discomfort is due to another person's behaviour, please speak to the person and feel free to raise it with the group if needed. If you feel uncomfortable with the subject matter, overwhelmed, or otherwise wish to stop participating, you are free to pause at any time, with the option to rejoin or step away as you feel led.

Q: What is the structure of the workshop?
A: The workshops will each begin with an introduction to the instructors, the goals of the workshop, and an overview of the mindsets and techniques of our interpretation of the practice. Following will be an instructor-led walkthrough of the massage techniques for you to follow along with your partner. The massage will begin with a full-body connective massage and culminate with the genital massage, where we will demonstrate and guide you through the techniques.

Q: What if I don't have a partner?
A: you are welcome to come solo and attend the lecture parts only.

Q: Do I need any previous massage or tantric experience?
A: This workshop is intended to stand on its own merits, the only skill needed is the desire and courage to explore and be vulnerable.

Q: Who are you and why are you doing this?
A: My name is Elisa and I'm doing this as my way of spreading a wonderful practice in the world.

Elisa is a relationship counsellor and sex educator. She worked as a professional dominatrix for eight years in both Italy and Australia. Originally from Rome, Elisa co-founded the polyamory community there in 2012 and was actively involved in the local kink scene before relocating to Sydney in 2015. Since then, she has expanded her work into tantra, body awareness, and holistic sexuality practices.

In February 2018, Elisa founded Intimate Horizons, an organisation offering workshops on alternative sexuality, body awareness, and personal growth. Since then, she has been teaching throughout Australia—mainly in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane—as well as internationally in the US (San Francisco and Las Vegas) and Europe (Berlin, Wien, and Rome).

Her passion for shibari led her to join the Peer Rope Melbourne community in 2021, and she took over leadership of the school in 2023, a shibari school with more than 100 classes every year. Elisa is currently studying psychology with the aim of gaining formal qualifications to teach, in the future, consent, boundary setting, and sexuality education to young adults.
