Ever tried Taiwanese fan tuan? Fan tuan is a popular Taiwanese breakfast staple made with sticky rice wrapped around savory fillings like dried radish, pork floss, and crispy youtiao (fried dough). It’s the perfect handheld bite, packed with delicious textures and flavors!
Join us for a chill fan tuan making event! We’ll provide all the materials! Just bring yourself and your appetite.
Note: the ingredients will be pre-made but we will talk about how each filling was made
Come make new friends, learn something new, and enjoy making and munching on these delicious Taiwanese fan tuan together.
Sign-ups will be selected through a lottery system. Sign-ups will close Tuesday, November 3rd, at 11:59 PM. Those selected will be contacted with payment details ($15 per person) to confirm their spot.

Starting May 2026, all TAP-NY event attendees must fill out the Member Intake Form. Only sign-ups with a completed member intake form will be considered for the event.
COVID-19 Policy
We require all attendees to be fully vaccinated, meaning the attendee has received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible.
