TARANTELLA DAY BENEFIT FOR LAURA
Event description
The Melbourne School of Tarantella & Open Factory is throwing a party for a good cause! We're rallying around our dear friend and fellow dancer, Laura. Laura, a super mom to 6-month-old Felix, is facing a tough situation with her partner diagnosed with aggressive pancreatic cancer. With treatments underway, Laura and her family are dealing with a lot of expenses and uncertainty.
So, let's come together for this benefit bash to give Laura a little breather! She's still on maternity leave and could use some peace of mind to take care of her son and partner. We've got the incredible Italian folk bands Sanacori and The Rustica Project lined up to keep you dancing and singing all afternoon. Supercook Roberta will be holding an orecchiette pasta-making workshop – you'll get to learn how to make those cute "little ears" pasta from Apulia!
And that's not all! Our very own 3CR broadcaster Pippo DJ will be spinning some awesome global grooves to keep the vibe going. Drinks will be available at bar prices, and we've got a super fun Italian raffle planned with loads of fantastic prizes up for grabs! Make sure to bring your cash for a chance to win!
