Join us for our Fourth Biennial Tarata Valley Trek

HORSERIDE - MOUNTAINBIKE - WALK

Come and enjoy  the magnificent TARATA HILL COUNTRY!  You are guaranteed stunning river and mountain views along with the legendary Tarata Hospitality

Fully catered - six meals provided from dinner on Friday night through to Sunday lunch time. Closing date for booking is Monday 30 November although we anticipate Horse Rider bookings to sell out FAST! (i.e.before the end of June)

80 Horse Rider Tickets maximum

$280 per person - Full amount required at time of booking

($80 non refundable)

30 Mountain Bike/Walker Tickets maximum

$250 per person - Full amount required at time of booking

($50 non refundable)

FRIDAY 22 January 2027

Registration Open from 1pm at the Tarata Domain

6pm: Muster (information you need to know)  - Tarata Hall

6:30pm: Dinner  - Tarata Hall

SATURDAY 23 January  2027

6:30am – 7:30am: Breakfast. Lunch ingredients will be available for you to make and pack a lunch to carry with you. 

8:00am - Walkers and mountain bikers head out on the trail. Horse riders leave after the walkers and mountain bikers, everyone to  be on the trail by 9:00am

6:00pm: Muster  - Tarata Hall

6:30pm: Dinner   - Tarata Hall

7:30pm Charity Auction - proceeds to Tarata Hall

SUNDAY 24 January 2027

6:30 - 7:30: Breakfast. Morning tea ingredients will be available for you to make and pack a snack to carry with you.

8.00am. Walkers and mountain bikers head out on the trail. Horse riders leave after the walkers and mountain bikers, everyone to  be on the trail by 9.00am.  

BBQ and drink provided at the Tarata domain upon return.

Please bring your own plates, cutlery, glasses, cups, drinks bottles, lunch boxes and torch.

The Tarata Hall does have a shower available for your use - A gold coin donation is greatly appreciated

If you have been before you will be able to see the improvements we have made to hall through your participation in this event. Since the last trek we have a new verandah on the front of the hall and improved lighting, a kitchen reno, new fire exit door, new windows in the bathrooms and new water tank to replace the old concrete one we had. Our list keep growing so please rest assured all funds raised will be greatly appreciated and well used.
