NEW MEMBERS WELCOME!
Pierrepoint Land Protection Group is relaunching as Tarrington Landcare Group and we’d love you to get involved. To celebrate we're holding a social catch up at the Roxburgh Cafe with a free pizza dinner.
Ecologist Greg Kerr, Nature Glenelg Trust, will be presenting on 'Birds on Farms'.
We'll also provide an update on the local Serrated Tussock control program and will introduce new equipment available to Tarrington Landcare Group members that will allow remote monitoring of birds.
This is an opportunity to contribute ideas to the group and shape what we do. Past examples of works the Landcare group has been involved in include co-ordinated weed and pest control, accessing grants for trees on farms, community events, training and demo days, biodiveristy monitoring and strategic planning. Our Annual General Meeting will be held immediately after the event and is open for anyone wishing to attend.
