Tas Whisky Week - Drag and Dram

Drag meets Drams at the 2024 Tasmanian Whisky Week, as Hobart’s OG Cocktail Bar Society Salamanca brings you Hobart's first ever Whisky and Drag night!

For the price of your ticket, you can expect:

• A Society Signature whisky cocktail on entry to get the party started!
• A gender-bending, guided tasting of five Tassie whiskies by Australia's newest enby Queen on a Visa: Ryan the Dram-a Queen!
• Entertainment from Hobart's favourite queen, the ever glamourous Pussay Poppins!
• High Society canapés feat. truffled arancinis, cheese & spinach pastries and stone-fired pizza!

We're reclaiming whisky, one (death)drop at a time! Expect nothing short of a fabulous night of whisky and drag, open 'till late!

15mls. drams provided by: Callington Mill Distillery, Island Coast Spirits, Mc Henry Distillery, Old Kempton Distillery and our beloved neighbours Battery Point Distillery.

This event is open to all but is an LGBTQIA+ friendly event. We ask that attendees remain respectful and help us in maintaining the venue as a safe space for members of the community. Drag and whisky is for everyone!

Society Salamanca

Descend into SOCIETY and discover a beautiful underground cocktail bar, displaying a collection of over 500 stunning spirits, complete with a sliding ladder, reminiscent of a fairy tale.
