Tasman BioBlitz
Event description
Join in citizen science in the Tasman, it’s as easy as signing up with iNaturalist and taking photos of on your smartphone of any wildlife you see. The Great Southern BioBlitz is a global citizen science project inviting Tasmanians to record plants and animals across our landscapes – from coastal shores to inland forests and even your backyard!
All you need is a smartphone and the free iNaturalist app. Every photo (or sound recording) you share contributes to science and conservation.
