Tasmanian Aboriginal Knowledge Holders School Grants Program: Online info session for schools

Reconciliation Tasmania’s new Tasmanian Aboriginal Knowledge Holders School Grants Program, launching 21 September, provides schools with an opportunity to build meaningful, ongoing relationships with Tasmanian Aboriginal educators and knowledge holders.  

We know that for many schools, embedding Aboriginal-led learning can be challenging – educators worry about “getting it wrong” while limited funding can make it difficult to invest in Aboriginal programs and initiatives.

This program hopes to change that. By empowering schools to build strong, ongoing relationships with Tasmanian Aboriginal people, we hope to enrich and expand learning not only for individual students, but for educators, families, and whole school communities.
