Join us this June for a special session all about keyboard-only navigation and building everyday accessibility skills in the workplace.
Our guest speakers, Doug McGinn and Amelia Dowe, will share insights from “No Mouse in the House”, a digital accessibility challenge run at the University of Tasmania in early 2024.
What to expect:
- A short presentation on the "No Mouse in the House" workplace challenges
- Friendly networking with fellow accessibility-minded folks
- Space to share ideas, challenges, and resources
Who should come?
- Anyone passionate about accessibility, inclusion, or disability rights
- People working to implement accessibility practices in their workplace
- Disability community members, assistive tech users, and advocates
- Curious minds who want to learn more
Accessibility:
- Live closed captions will be available on Zoom
- Speakers will introduce themselves before talking (e.g. "Rosie speaking...")
- Any visuals will be described
- The presentation portion will be recorded and uploaded with edited captions on our YouTube channel.
