After a wine tasting and some charcuterie, we will enjoy a Private Lunch in Pooley’s Prospect House award-winning restaurant. After checking in to RACV Hobart Apartment for a three-night stay, which includes breakfast daily,
we will discover more of Tasmania’s burgeoning beverage industry with a visit to the Lark Distillery, before making our way to the waterfront for a sumptuous private dinner at The Old Wharf Restaurant.

This morning, after breakfast, we make our way to the Brooke Street ferry terminal for ‘Posh Pit’ service to the Berriedale Peninsula, about 30 minutes away, where both the incredible MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) and the Moorilla Winery are situated. Our day will be spent exploring the eclectic and sometimes eyebrow raising collections at MONA, as well as lunch at the gastronomic restaurant The Source and a tasting at Moorilla Winery. We return to the CBD in the afternoon, and this evening we enjoy a Private Dining experience with wine pairing at Me Wah restaurant in Sandy Bay.

Day 3. Monday 17 February (B/L/D)

After breakfast this morning, we get to work off all additional kilojoules we have consumed on ‘Tasmania’s Ultimate Downhill Bicycle Ride’. The ride departs from the summit of Mt Wellington, where we can enjoy the incredible views of Hobart from above, before descending 1270 metres to sea level on a 21-kilometre guided journey that captures contrasting landscapes from sub-alpine and mountain rainforests to the vibrant waterfront of Hobart. The ride is at a leisurely pace and suitable for anyone who can ride a bicycle.

The rest of the day is at leisure. After working up such an appetite, you might like to enjoy lunch at one of the many delightful waterfront restaurants that are within an easy walk of the RACV/RACT Apartment Hotel.
