Tassie 6 Day Ride 2025
Black Dog Ride's Tassie 6 Day Ride 2025 aims to start conversations about depression and suicide prevention by visiting regional towns in Tasmania. Help us get the state talking and join us on this incredible 6 day adventure around Tasmania.
Ride Registration
Registrations to ride all the way with Black Dog Ride are strictly limited. Registrations close when all places are filled.
Registration for the full Tassie State Ride includes:
- Entry and participation in the fully organised Ride
- Back up of a Support Vehicle en route
- Tas State Ride 2025 cloth patch, round ride decal, and bumper sticker
Ride Itinerary
The broad itinerary for this ride is as follows.
Daily route:
Day 1 - 2nd October 2025 - 387kms Max
Ride briefing/Check in 10.45am at XX, Campbell Town, Tas
Stands up at 11.00am
Max distance is for riders arriving on the Spirit of Tas that morning 387kms
Dinner at the Dr Syntax Hotel in Sandy Bay, Hobart. Most accommodation at that location.
Day 2 - 3rd October 2025 - 283km
Depart after 9am briefing for ride to Grindelwald Resort in the Tamar Valley northern Tassie.
Day 3 - 4th October 2025 - 350km
Depart from the Grindelwald Resort after 9am briefing for a guided ride of the northern central Tasmanian coast and hinterland. Return to Grindelwald Resort.
Day 4 - 5th October 2025 - 264km
Depart from Grindelwald Resort at 9am after briefing for a ride to the Scamander Beach Resort on the east coast. Dinner at the Scamander Beach Resort.
Day 5 - 6th October 2025 - 290km
Depart 9am from the Scamander Beach Resort for a ride through north eastern Tassie visiting waterfalls, Pub in the Paddock and awesome little villages. Return to the Scamander Beach Resort.
Day 6 - 7th October 2025
Depart after Ride Briefing via Lake Leake to Campbell Town, say farewell to some Southern riders. Remaining riders head north to Scottsdale, then farewell local Northerners. Remaining riders should seek accommodation in Launceston area.
Max distance 1900+ kms for the 6 days.
Ride Preparation
It is imperative that riders ensure their bike is registered, roadworthy, and in proper working order, ready for the significant distance ride ahead. It is also imperative that riders and pillion passengers are fit and well enough for the journey. Black Dog Ride does not take responsibility for these matters.

At all times, the use of illegal substances is prohibited. At the conclusion of the event or days documented riding, and/or if an event includes multiple days, including evening social events and meals, we expect your decision to consume alcohol to be in moderation and within legal limitations. Non-compliance of this requirement will result in your immediate disqualification from further participation in the event, and no refunds will be given
