Event description
Tauba—Turn of the Year, Turn of the Heart w/ Pir Zia Inayat Khan
Saturday, January 3, 2026
11:00 am - 4:15 pm EST / 5:00 - 10:15 pm CET
Tauba is an Arabic word meaning “turning back to the One.” The One is Al-Tawwab, “the Ever-Turning,” who receives our sorrow and regret, transforms it, and returns it to us as healing guidance. Together, in retreat, we will go backward and forward at once–back to the Source of our being, and forward toward all that the coming year holds in store for us and for the world.
The Sufi teacher Pir Zia Inayat Khan is our guide in this process, one that will lay the groundwork for further growth, integration, and spiritual maturity over the months to come.
Pir Zia will meet with us on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 for three 1 hour and 15-minute sessions with 45-minute breaks between each one. We will begin at 11 am EST (New York)/5 pm CET (Paris) time and end at 4:15 pm EST/10:15 pm CET. Please see timeanddate.com for your local schedule.
Zoom will open 15 minutes before our start time, allowing us to center and find ourselves internally and within the digital space. A Zoom link will be included in your registration confirmation.
Tuition is a simple $75 for those who can afford this amount, and $45 for those on a more restrictive income. With advance registration, both the video and audio will be made available to experience the retreat at any time you’d like after the day of the livestream.
If there are any questions, please contact us at astana@inayatiyya.org. We look forward to being together on January 3rd, 2026!
