Mon, 21 Sep, 8pm - 9pm EDT

Description

We warmly invite queer researchers, allies, and those working in areas which support queer communities to join us for a Tautoko session.

This is a space for a collective kōrero - for all attending to discuss upcoming or recently shared research, and / or activities your organisation is up to in these communities.

In this session, we'll also use some of the time for discussing the name of the recently opened, work in progress, Queerness in Aotearoa research and resources collection: https://communityresearch.org.nz/collection/queerness-in-aotearoa/ as this title is a placeholder and we want it to be shaped by the community. If we have time, we'll also begin to discuss a set of shared values for future activities in this space.

All are welcome. Event is 12-1, Tuesday September 22.

A note re content and experience: This is a 'cameras on' event to help attendees get to know each other, but the event is not recorded and the discussion is kept amongst attendees. Moderation will be in place and we will expect attendees to follow our guidelines of respecting each other and acting with compassion and kindness in the shared space. If you feel more comfortable in a 'cameras off' environment, please feel free to attend one of our webinars in future, where audience members can ask questions via text.

Automatic transcription will be turned on for the event to assist attendees.

If possible, please consider a donation

Community Research is a not-for-profit organisation and we would love your support to help us continue to champion research by and for communities. If you are able, please consider adding a donation when you register for this webinar. Ngā mihi maioha.
