Tāwharanui Regional Park - Planting Day 2025

Join rangers and volunteers for a fun exciting day out on our regional parks.

Bring your family and friends to help plant trees and keep Auckland green.

Follow the signs to the meeting place. We'll lead you to the planting site and work alongside you until lunchtime, then we'll feed you and send you home muddy but happy.

Please wear good, enclosed boots or shoes and weather appropriate clothes – planting will happen even if it rains.

Bring along your water bottles and, if you have a spade and gloves, bring them along, or we'll provide them.

Protect our parks from kauri dieback: bring only clean footwear and equipment to our parks.

Come and join us - have fun and save the planet at the same time!

*To avoid potential disappointment, register to attend an earlier date rather than a later date.
Later planting dates will be cancelled if all the trees have been planted.
