    Event description

Need assistance completing your 2024 tax return?

The City's libraries can help you lodge your tax returns with a FREE and confidential service supported by the Australian Taxation Office through a network of ATO-trained and accredited community volunteers.

The one-hour sessions are held at South Perth Library
    Every Thursday: 10am, 11.15am, 12.30pm from 15 August to 31 October 2024.

    Every Saturday: 10am, 11am, 12pm from 10 August to 19 October 2024.

Please bring the following to your appointment:

    • your myGov username or email you use for myGov and myGov password – if you are unable to locate or remember your myGov sign in details, or don't have a myGov account, our volunteers can help
    • your mobile phone to receive your myGov SMS security code
    • your bank account details (BSB and account number)
    • your tax file number (TFN)
    • an original or amended notice of assessment from any one of the last five years
    • income statements or payments summaries from all sources
