In this special webinar, Dr Vincent Oxenham and Sophie Reed will explore the psychological and cognitive challenges that can accompany a brain tumour diagnosis and treatment, how these changes can affect everyday life, and the types of support that may help.
The session will provide practical insights for patients, families and caregivers, while also being relevant to health professionals and others interested in better understanding the psychological and cognitive impacts of brain cancer.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions during the session.

Sophie Reed
Sophie Reed is a Clinical Neuropsychologist Registrar at St Vincent’s Hospital and PhD candidate at Macquarie University, with experience supporting people with neurological conditions and their families. Her PhD research focuses on the cognitive, emotional and everyday impacts of brain cancer, and how people can be better supported to understand and adjust to these changes. Sophie is passionate about providing practical, compassionate support that recognises the whole person and the challenges that can arise throughout the brain cancer journey.
