In Conversation with Gabriele Bammer: Conundrums in transdisciplinary research

Gabriele Bammer is the Professor of Integration and Implementation Sciences (i2S) at the Australian National University in the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health. She is developing the new discipline of Integration and Implementation Sciences to improve research strengths for tackling complex societal and environmental problems (see i2s.anu.edu.au) and she curates the popular Integration and Implementation Insights repository and blog (http://i2Insights.org). i2S aims to be a discipline that underpins and connects a range of unconnected approaches including transdisciplinarity, interdisciplinarity, systems thinking, action research, post-normal science, implementation science, and more.
