TD School Residency - Academic Secondment Information Session

TD School is inviting expressions of interest through a competitive process from interested UTS academic staff for a residency at TD School, through a flexible secondment program. 

This information session will provide an opportunity for those interested in a secondment to TD School to speak with TD Electives Program Director, Dr Giedre Kligyte, and the Head of TD School, Professor Bill Purcell, to find out more about the program and how the secondment opportunity might work for you.

The secondment would involve:

• Full immersion and participation in learning and teaching and research activities at TD School for a negotiated length of time
• Fulfilling an agreed teaching load primarily within the TD electives program, eg. co-coordinating and/or teaching into a specific TD elective
• Building collaborations within and beyond TD School, including connections to your home faculty as well as with TD School industry partners
  

The proposals can be for 0.5 to 1.0 FTE, with the balance to be worked in your current faculty. Proposals can be for a period of 1 to 3 years, at your current academic level and step. We anticipate a 40: 40: 20 workload mix,  but we are open to consider proposals for a higher teaching load.  For this round, the opportunity is open to Faculty-based academics only.
