TDS x Pentax: a bushwalk with the Pentax 17

Join The Darkroom Social and Pentax for a bushwalk where you will share a Pentax 17 with a friend (each ticket purchased is a double pass - so bring a friend along to share the camera and fun with on the day!).

We will meet at the beautiful Manly Beachfront at 1:30pm and begin walking towards Shelly Beach. Once there we will begin our bushwalk up into North Head Sanctuary, ending at the Scenic Drive View Point where we will demonstrate the processing of black and white film using freshly brewed coffee!

Pentax 17 cameras and black and white film will be provided to use for the event. Each participant will also receive a recipe for the coffee developer we use on the day.

The walk in total is 4.5km and involves stairs and uneven uphill terrain in parts. It requires a moderate fitness level and please make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes on the day.

There is a bus service (161) that runs through North Head that can take you back down to Manly.

There will be drinking taps and bathrooms along the route, but please bring your a water bottle and a hat for the walk.
