TDS x Tenancy 5 - Print Swap & End of Year Social

Photo friends of Sydney! Join us on Wednesday 18th November for a print swap and end-of-year social.

Everyone is welcome, whether or not you have a print to swap. We’d love to see you for an evening of community, chats and snacks at the beautiful Joynton Ave Creative Centre, where our friends at Tenancy 5 are creating a hub for photographic practice.

This will be our last event of the year, and we’d love to see as many new and familiar faces as possible. Whether you’ve joined us for an event before or are just starting out on your photo journey, come along - we’d love to have you there!

The event is free but registration is required, thank you.

Print swap information:

Each print in the swap must have an analogue or darkroom component (this can include black and white silver gelatin, colour darkroom, alternative processes and other hybrid work). We recommend bringing a test print, an experiment or a one-off rather than an exhibition edition - something you’re happy to pass on to a new photo friend.

Each person can bring one print up to a maximum size of 11x14 inches. We will organise the swap during the evening, with prints to be randomly swapped among participating artists.

It’s all for a bit of fun, so who knows what you’ll end up taking home! Expect a few surprises, good vibes and plenty of interesting chats along the way.

The swap will begin at 6:30 so please make sure you have arrived and checked in by 6pm if you are participating.

Please email remi@thedarkroom.social with any questions.
