Te Kohuroa Rewilding - Ranger Induction 2026

LEARN, CONNECT, AND TAKE ACTION FOR TE KOHUROA MATHESON BAY

Would you like to get involved in our long-term program of restoration as a regular volunteer?

Join TKRI's Rewilding Rangers on Thursday 15th October, 7-8.30pm (online) to learn skills that will enable you to become more involved in the project, both in and out of the water. The induction offers participants the opportunity to learn how to communicate effectively with visitors and volunteers, handle safety and risk management, manage questions and feedback, and represent TKRI with confidence. This event is for both current and new Rangers.

As part of the Ranger program, you will have the chance to access additional training, participate in rewilding action groups, and get involved in the in-depth restoration processes that contribute to long-term project goals. You also get to build knowledge and skills that support your own conservation journeys.
