Across four days, participants will learn alongside experienced mātanga and kaiako through kaupapa including Puanganui o te Rangi, Ngā Mita o Taranaki, Ngā Māra ā ngā Tūpuna, and Te Reo me ōna Tikanga.
Anchored to Te Matamata o te Tau and concluding with Te Haupawa, the programme offers a Taranaki rich opportunity to deepen connection to te reo Māori, tātai whetū, māra traditions, tikanga, waiata, karakia, and the traditional knowledge of Taranaki Maunga.
This kura provides a unique opportunity for uri o Taranaki Maunga to deepen their connection to te reo Māori through a fully immersive experience. Participants should be comfortable engaging, learning, and contributing entirely in te reo Māori, as English will not be used throughout the programme - kia reo Māori te kaupapa nei.
