Te Muri Regional Park community planting day

This is year is MLRP’s final year working with the community on planting at Te Muri Regional Park. With the help of awesome volunteers, we have planted thousands of native plants as part of our stream enhancement project. This project has involved reshaping and restoring the stream to a more natural state to improve its ability to manage runoff and support local biodiversity. 

Our aim on Sunday, 18 May, is to get another 1800 plants in the ground. 

These are always fun and fulfilling events with a yummy sausage sizzle and great company.
