Te Poipoi Kaiako | Mentor support programme webinar #5 - Nō hea ahau? Where am I from? - fostering whanaungatanga with your mentees
Event description
The act of kōrero tuakiri (sharing) lays a crucial foundation for whakawhanaungatanga (making human connections). In this webinar we will explore valuable strategies for fostering whanaungatanga (kinship), trust, and care by understanding each other's family stories, where we are from, and our values and cultures. In turn, this will lay the foundation for strong relationships with your mentees, helping you establish a collaborative mentoring relationship that supports their waiora (wellbeing) and professional development.
This webinar complements the learning module “No hea au, where am I from?” and guidance materials available when logged in to training.education.govt.nz.
