Description

TEA AFTER DARK III: HOUSE (1977)

ONE LAST NIGHT. ONE VERY STRANGE HOUSE.

You voted. We listened.

For the final installment of Tea After Dark, Fresno Film Society and Isla Tea Lounge present HOUSE (Hausu, 1977), a wildly imaginative Japanese horror classic from director Nobuhiko Obayashi.

When a schoolgirl and her six friends visit her aunt’s countryside home, their summer getaway takes a bizarre turn. What follows is a kaleidoscope of haunted furniture, supernatural surprises, psychedelic visuals, and surreal comedy unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Part horror film, part fever dream, and entirely unforgettable, House is a celebration of cinema at its strangest.

Join us for one last evening of tea, film, and community as we close out our inaugural Tea After Dark series.
