A slow Sunday tea and live music immersion in nature.

A gentle invitation to slow down and come back to centre… together.
Join us for a nourishing Sunday afternoon of tea and live improvised on a beautiful bush-land property in Jervis Bay (10m from Huskisson and 15m south of Nowra).

This intimate experience brings together a Zen‑inspired tea ceremony served by Jax Wechsler, alongside live improvised soundscapes by Scott Gillespie.

What you’ll experience

A space to soften the edges of the week.
To listen more deeply.
To be, rather than do.

You’ll be guided through:

A meditative tea ceremony with delicious Oolong tea served in exquisite ceramic ware
Live, layered instrumental soundscapes that invite spaciousness and rest
Moments of gentle reflection and shared silence
Casual sharing or light conversation at the close (sharing completely optional)

This is a sensory gathering of presence, connection and sensory nourishment.

Come to sip, listen, and steep in the sounds. You are most welcome.

We will sit outside in nature weather permitting, otherwise we have a gathering space with a fire.

About your hosts

Jax and Scott are lovers of tea and contemplative ways of living, with a shared interest in Taoism and the quiet intelligence of slowing down.

Scott is a musician with decades of experience, weaving layered instrumental and vocal soundscapes through live looping. His music invites spaciousness, texture, and a sense of journey.

Jax is a facilitator, coach, and educator exploring ritual, nervous system awareness, and regenerative ways of being. Her work gently opens spaces for people to arrive more fully into themselves and into connection with others,

About Aluna Gatherings

Aluna Gatherings is held by Jax Wechsler and Scott Gillespie and centres on creating grounded, relational spaces for clarity and connection in a complex and often overwhelming world. The work brings together music, nature, tea ceremony, systemic constellations and simple embodied practices to help you see a situation differently – especially when something in life feels stuck, unclear, or “moving beneath the surface.”

We create intimate spaces where you can slow down, reconnect with your own knowing, and sense more deeply into what might be opening up. It is not therapy or coaching toward specific outcomes; it is a way of seeing and sensing differently, with nature as a quiet co‑regulator and companion.

Sessions and circles are held on private land in Jervis Bay (around 2.5 hours from Sydney or Canberra), in Sydney, and online.

Tea Ceremony & Tea & Tones

Tea ceremony in the Way of Tea (Cha Dao) is offered as a simple, meditative practice of sharing high‑quality Puerh or Oolong tea in silence and conversation. Tea can be part of 1:1 sessions or shared in community circles on the land in Jervis Bay and in Sydney.

Tea & Tones brings tea ceremony together with live, improvised music in a beautiful nature setting, inviting you to steep in sound, bird song and the quiet spaciousness of the land. These gatherings are gentle, welcoming spaces to pause, get present, listen, and connect with yourself, others and the living world.

Systemic Constellations & Land‑based Sessions

Jax offers Systemic Constellations groups and 1:1 sessions working with nature and felt sensation (embodied knowng) to help you gain clarity when something in your life feels stuck or unclear. Together, we slow the pace, work outdoors where possible, and map out situations using natural objects to externalise complex dynamics and relationships.

People leave sessions feeling more grounded, with a clearer sense of what might be going on beneath the surface and what is wanting attention, without prescribing solutions or telling you what to do. This work can be experienced 1:1 on the land in Jervis Bay, in Sydney, or online.

Who Constellations are for

They are for individuals who are at a point of transition, decision or questioning, and sense that something is shifting but are not in acute crisis. You might arrive with a specific question, a life transition, or simply a feeling that “something is moving” and you would like space to listen more deeply.

If you value nature, presence and deeper ways of understanding – and are open to reflective, experiential, and embodied approaches – these gatherings may offer a supportive place to explore what is emerging in your life.
