Tea Ceremony with Live Music by Nadav & Shivam Rath

You are invited to a tea ceremony by Belinda from The Tea Circle and Jessica Chapnik Kahn, accompanied by live music from musicians Nadav Kahn & Shivam Rath.

Belinda, Jessica and Nadav have co-created this unique ceremony as an offering especially for you featuring very special guest musician Shivam Rath on Crystal Slide.

With roots in ancient traditions, tea offers a simple, powerful way to gather with presence to quiet the mind and open the heart. Together, we will sit silently for one hour of drinking ceremonial grade tea, creating a gentle meditative space for inner wisdom to emerge as Nadav & Shivam weave sound born from the space itself. The alchemy of tea and music supports contemplation and connection, gently guiding us to slow down and turn inward. We’ll conclude the ceremony with 30 minutes to ground and share, giving time to integrate the experience.

Doors open at 3:45pm for a 4:pm sharp start

About Shivam Rath:

Classical musician and live looper Shivam Rath on the crystal slide & electronic tabla, sharing a unique mixture of Rhythm, Raga, Mantra & Beats in live realtime looping. Named at birth Shivam Rath, is a second generation Musician following his fathers footsteps in both the world of Yoga and Indian classical music and since seriously taking up the path is sliding up to be one of Australia’s leading Slide Guitarists. Born into a musical family he has been combining his knowledge and path of meditation into the classically trained field of Music, Mantra and Raga and has now been performing and teaching music across the world for over a decade. As well as writing and producing his own musical compositions, with many tracks bridging, reviving and blending ancient arts, culture, mantra and music into our modern world.Shivam has studied music directly from some of the worlds top leading instrumentalists including Riley Lee (Shakuhachi) Japanese flute & Indian Slide guitarist Debashish Bhattacharya as well as Tabla from Chota Lal Mishra (former BHU University Professor). He is particularly passionate about sharing his experience and knowledge of raga music and has taught and hosted workshops, retreats in numerous countries and locations around the world as well as multiple tours with some of India's incredibly acclaimed maestros, earning a respect and recognition for establishing himself in this rich and ancient musical tradition.

He is inspired by the transformative power of music and the ancient science of sonic vibration, meditation and yoga as paths to self-discovery.
