Join our free QCE Biology Units 1–4 workshops to support the implementation of the new General Senior Syllabus 2025.
Hosted by the expert team of QCE Biology teachers, authors and product developers at Oxford University Press, this workshop will include:
- an overview of key changes to the content and assessment of the new syllabus – what’s in, what’s out, what’s moved
- practical tips, advice, and a selection of ready-to-use resources that will help you save time and implement the new syllabus with confidence
- a sneak peek at our brand new QCE Biology resources coming for 2025
- a demonstration of the new features and functionality launching on Oxford Digital from Term 1 2025, including Live Lesson mode – an Australian first that lets you to say goodbye to traditional print-based lesson plans in favour of perfectly timed and sequenced interactive lessons with integrated classroom activities that will drive classroom engagement and participation.
Each attendee will receive:

Meet the presenters
Natalie Quinn
Natalie Quinn began her career as a terrestrial ecologist before moving into secondary education and is now a Head of Department (Science) for Education Queensland at Wynnum State High School. She has completed a Master of Education, conducted scientific research, and has 10 years' experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology in a variety of state and independent schools across Queensland. Natalie is the author of the Oxford Study Buddy for Biology and is a QCAA Subject Matter Expert for Biology and Earth and Environmental Sciences.
Natalie will be presenting at the Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast workshops.
Jessica Brodbeck
Jessica Brodbeck has been teaching Senior Biology, Science, and Mathematics since 2018, and has been a Year Coordinator for 5 years. She completed her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Immunology and Parasitology, before completing her Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary). She implemented the 2019 Senior Syllabus within Balmoral State School, and has since worked as a QCAA marker, endorser, and confirmer since its introduction, as well as working as a senior biology private tutor.
Jessica will be presenting at the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast workshops.
