Teaching and Learning Leader conference

The SACE Board’s strategic purpose is to co-design a Passport to Thrive in partnership with schools. The Teaching and Learning Leaders Conference provides an opportunity to share what we have heard through Subject Renewal consultation, provide greater clarity on the future direction and strengthen the partnership between the SACE Board and school leaders as we move into the next phase of the program. 

Our goals for the conference are to: 

• Close the loop on feedback received through Subject Renewal consultation and the Semester 1 Teaching and Learning Leaders Conference. 

• Provide greater clarity and confidence in the Subject Renewal roadmap, timelines, accreditation process, and next steps. 

• Share the proposed implementation approach and gather feedback to inform implementation support and professional learning. 

• Strengthen the partnership between Teaching and Learning Leaders and the SACE Board as we move into implementation. 

Participants will: 

• Hear the public sentiment captured in subject renewal consultations and how the SACE Board is responding 

• Actively contribute to the design of future Teaching and Learning Leader partnerships with the SACE Board, including implementation support structures 

• Build meaningful connections and hear authentic perspectives from colleagues 

• Leave with knowledge, insights and ideas for the next steps, including support for communicating updates with their school.  

Teaching and Learning Leader conferences are designed to connect schools leading subject renewal and capabilities programs with the broader system, enabling shared learning and building collective impact over time. 

Please note: Up to two representatives per school may attend. Attendees should be Teaching and Learning Leaders, curriculum leaders, or equivalent school-based leaders.
