Teaching Entrepreneurship While Creating Value For Others
Event description
Entrepreneurship underpinned with empathy can be the greatest force for good in the world. Students in primary school have a greater sense of empathy and caring for others. They are hard wired to help others and to solve the problems that they see around them.
Combining entrepreneurial education with the opportunity to create value for others makes the lessons much stickier and increases student engagement. It is an extremely powerful combination. In this interactive session, Jim will share how he intertwines and finds unique challenges for the students.
Jim is passionate about helping students (and teachers) develop the entrepreneurial mindset, skillset and toolset they need today to thrive in tomorrow's uncertainty. He taught entrepreneurship in Central and South America as a Peace Corps Volunteer, has been an entrepreneur several times over and is currently the Co-Founder of First Pivot.
